This position takes place in-person at our headquarters in Eau Claire, WI.
The intern designer’s main objective will be to utilize his/her knowledge of modern design trends and manufactured materials to help design an array of projects utilizing 3D modeling and provide inspiration and guidance to guests.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Design 3D projects using Blender to create lifelike scenes for a variety of products produced by Midwest Manufacturing.
· Work with 3D lighting to make the rendering as lifelike as possible.
· Assist in the development of instructional manuals that accompany each product to guide guests through the building process.
· Create animated videos for installation of products.
· Use Premiere and After Effects to assist in video production.
· Render images used for designing programs.
· Create 3D models for use in designing programs.
· Any additional design projects as assigned by the Manager.
· Degree in Progress in Animation, Graphic Design, or another design-related field.
· Experience creating 3D designs using Blender and Google SketchUp.
· Experience with Adobe Create Suite.
· Experience with Microsoft Office.
· Able to work in PC environments.
· Strong creative skills.
· Flexible, self-guided, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
