JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a skilled Arborist Climber to join our tree care team. The ideal candidate has experience
in climbing, knowledge of tree biology and structure, and a commitment to safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform tree removals, pruning, cabling, and canopy thinning at varying heights
- Use climbing gear, rigging systems, chainsaws, and aerial lifts
- Inspect trees for signs of disease, structural issues, or hazards
- Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with ground crew and team leaders
- Support job site clean-up and customer satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years of climbing experience (DRT/SRT techniques)
- Proficient with chainsaw operation and rigging methods
- Knowledge of ANSI A300 and Z133 safety standards
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- ISA Certified Arborist or LTCO is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Comfortable working at heights over 60 ft
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Must pass a drug test and background check
