What You'll Do:As an Assembly Automation Technician , you'll be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of both automatic and semi-automatic assembly equipment, all while identifying and resolving any technical issues that may arise. Your problem-solving and troubleshooting skills will play a key role in keeping production on track and meeting quality standards.
Machine Setup & Troubleshooting : Perform diagnostic checks and troubleshoot automated equipment, including sensors, controllers, encoders, servomotors, and more.
Preventive Maintenance : Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
Repair & Modification : Utilize your expertise in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics to repair, maintain, and modify automated machinery.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement : Work alongside cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for operational improvements and contribute to process optimization.
Documentation & Compliance : Complete necessary shift paperwork, ensuring that all actions comply with company standards, and maintain detailed records for traceability.
Machine Adjustments & Changeovers : Perform machine changeovers, including tooling adjustments and line clearance, to ensure smooth transitions during production.
Experience : Up to 3 years of manufacturing experience, with a preference for those with exposure to automated and semi-automated equipment.
Skills : Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining automated systems, with knowledge of electrical controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
Problem-Solving : Strong diagnostic skills to identify root causes of issues and take corrective actions promptly.
Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with controls, electrical systems, machine shop work, and the use of hand tools and welding.
Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to document and communicate effectively across teams.
Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and push. Regular physical demands include standing, crouching, climbing, and maintaining visual attention on products and components.

Cleanroom environment with potential exposure to solvents, chemicals, and moving equipment.
Physical demands include lifting and handling equipment, as well as maintaining a concentrated visual focus.
