Position: Athletic Director
Description:
Lead and oversee a dynamic athletic program at the middle and high school levels. Responsible for strategic planning, program development, staff management, and ensuring compliance with all athletic regulations.
Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive athletic programs. Recruit, train, and supervise coaching staff and athletic personnel.
Manage the athletic department's budget, including equipment, travel, and facilities. Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and league policies, including UIL regulations.
Coordinate practice schedules, games, and tournaments to optimize facility use.
Promote academic achievement, sportsmanship, and personal growth among student-athletes.
Engage with the community to support athletic programs and build positive relationships with parents, alumni, and stakeholders.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years in athletic administration or coaching, with a strong background in program development and leadership.
Expertise in league regulations, sports operations, and best practices in athletic administration.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
