What We're Looking For:
We are looking for someone who is passionate, team-oriented, and dedicated to personal and professional growth, with a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism, and who empowers their team of RBTs to do the same. (And you need to know how to implement trauma-informed, assent-based Applied Behavior Analysis strategies to children with autism spectrum disorders.)
- Do you love working with kids and making a difference in their lives? Are you the kind of person kids naturally gravitate towards?
- Do you enjoy being part of a supportive team? Do you love fostering the growth of the next generation of behavior analysts?
- Are you a BCBA in good standing, and have a couple years experience under your belt? Awesome!
- Are you good with words? You'll need to communicate professionally with clients, families, insurance funders and other professionals.
- Are you creative and a good problem solver? We need someone who can tackle challenging behaviors and come up with effective interventions.
- Are you patient? Patience, empathy, and compassion are key when working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assess, design, and implement treatment plans to teach individualized skills to children with autism to help improve their language, social and play skills.
- Collaborate with and provide training to families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and generalization of skills across settings.
- Empower RBTs to to win at making a difference in your clients’ lives by providing top notch supports, supervision and training
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and adhere to the BACB code of ethics.
- Participate in and lead team meetings and trainings
