Project Manager - Brides
An established engineering firm is seeking a Bridge Engineer / Project Manager to join its Transportation team in Wichita. This role involves designing and managing a range of bridge and transportation-related projects, including bridge structures, rehabilitation, inspection, structural analysis, falsework and girder erection, traffic control, and retaining walls.
Lead the design and production of transportation projects for DOT, turnpike, county, and municipal clients.
Oversee project management from scoping to final design.
Provide leadership and guidance to production teams.
Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships.
Prepare and present project proposals, interviews, and client meetings.
B.S. in Civil Engineering.
5+ years of experience in transportation-related projects.
Strong background in bridge design and/or roadway design.
Experience with bridge hydraulics preferred.
Proficiency in Civil 3D and/or MicroStation (OpenRoads, InRoads, Geopak).
Familiarity with design software such as MDX, LEAP Bridge, OpenBridge Designer, BRASS-CULVERT, LARSA, and BAR7.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
PE license in Kansas preferred or ability to obtain.
Knowledge of local standards and regulations preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines with sound business judgment.
