Overview Leading consumer goods company looking for an experienced Chemist. Ideal candidates should have a BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 0-4 years of experience OR p
rior experience in Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation.
Responsibilities - Position will include as tasks to successfully make hair color laboratory batches, conducting product stability, evaluate color performance, and record and report results.
- Experience with lab equipment such as batching equipment, pH meters, viscometer, and Microsoft applications, and interaction with raw material suppliers a plus.
- Ability to lift bulk materials, fill consumer laboratory samples, and prepare hair tresses with application of consumer products and CGMP practices required.
- Assist in the maintenance of laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, and waste.
- Communicate formulation stability and efficacy results.
Requirements - BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 0-4 years of experience (or) Prior experience in Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and analytical skills. Quick learner.
- Strong data management (excel etc.)
