Class A Pipe Welder
- Pay : $27–$29/hour, Based on Experience
- Hours : Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Job Type : Welding
- Location : Port of Catoosa
Test Requirements
Candidates must pass the following tests:
- GMAW/FCAW Pipe 6G – 2 ¾" Super Coupon (0.625")
- GTAW Pipe 6G – 2" Sch 160 (0.344")
Additionally, candidates must hold certifications in at least three of the following:
- GMAW/FCAW - 6G
- GTAW - Positions: 2G & 5G or 6G
- SMAW - Positions: 2G, 3G, or 6G
- SAW - Position: 1G (Flat)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Class A Pipe Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in pipe welding, working with various materials and techniques to produce high-quality, reliable welds for industrial projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform pipe welding using techniques such as TIG, MIG, and Stick welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Cut, fit, and assemble piping systems and components.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and adheres to industry regulations.
