Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour (Pay determined by experience)
Job Description:
Join our team at Interim HealthCare, with our office in Muncy, PA, where you can make a real difference in the life of a client in Galeton, PA. As a CNA or HHA, you will provide essential personal care and assist with daily living activities, helping the client maintain their dignity and quality of life. You will work closely with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to provide care under the supervision of a nursing plan and facility guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, dressing, skin care, and oral hygiene
- Help patients with toileting, elimination, and maintaining comfort
- Ensure a safe, clean environment by utilizing infection control measures like hand washing and PPE use
- Observe and report patient condition and vital signs to the supervisor
- Perform tasks such as blood glucose monitoring, collecting urine specimens, and documenting intake/output
- Administer non-medicated enemas, non-sterile dressings, ice packs, heat treatments, and therapeutic baths
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercises, and patient transport within facilities
- Safely apply and monitor the use of physical restraints as directed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNA or HHA certification
- Must be 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation within the Muncy area
- Previous experience is a plus but not required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
