Second shift differential: Earn an additional $1.10 per hour on 2nd shift.

A Day in the Life

Start by reviewing work orders, machining sheets, and templates, translating specifications into door configurations.
Set up and run the machines you’re trained and certified to operate, demonstrating confidence and competence.
Work safely and efficiently, performing periodic machine upkeep; promptly alert the Shop Supervisor to equipment issues or safety concerns.
Maximize throughput without compromising safety or quality.
Apply and follow established quality control guidelines throughout your run.
Report any discrepancies or product defects to the Shop Supervisor immediately.
Keep your area clean, orderly, and ready for the next job.
Maintain clear communication: notify the Shop Supervisor if you’ll be late or need to leave early, and check in when you finish daily work orders—then move to the next assignment or begin prepping for tomorrow’s.

What You Bring

Comfort working under general supervision with the judgment to know when to escalate.
Ability to resolve moderately complex issues while referring more complex situations to senior staff.
Solid, hands-on knowledge of machining operations within a production environment.

Lift 1–30# frequently (up to 50% in an 8-hour day)
Lift 30–60# regularly (up to 30% in an 8-hour day)
Lift 60+# occasionally (up to 25% in an 8-hour day)
