Job Description

As the Communications Executive (Copywriter) for Aesop, you’ll be the guardian of Aesop’s distinctive tone of voice, ensuring consistency of language, style, and spirit across all communication channels. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of Online and Global Copy Editor, you’ll deliver all copy requirements and collaborate with global and regional teams to bring campaigns to life in Australia and New Zealand.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Adapt global marketing campaigns for the ANZ region across print, digital, and social channels, including landing pages, eDMs, and press releases.
• Develop innovative concepts for regional campaigns and produce cultural, editorial, and product-focused written content.
• Elevate Aesop’s digital presence by crafting high-performing copy for Meta, Instagram, and aesop.com, while adhering to platform best practices.
• Uphold Aesop’s style guide and tone of voice, ensuring all communications reflect the brand’s essence.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, including Marketing, Digital, Retail, Wholesale and Sustainability.

ABOUT YOU

• Have a bachelor’s degree in literary studies, journalism, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing short- and long-form copy.

• Possess exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, particularly for digital and social platforms.
• Understand marketing objectives and can craft user-centric copy that drives awareness, consideration, and conversion.
• Are skilled in SEO, CTAs, UX, and CRM, with experience in Meta, Instagram, and eDM best practices.
• Have a passion for literature, the arts, and design, with an awareness of cultural sensitivities in ANZ.
