This is a unique opportunity to build the accounting function from the ground up in a high-growth, pre-IPO environment. You will manage the day-to-day accounting operations, oversee the monthly close, support implementation of new ERP systems, and help establish scalable processes as they grow. This is a highly visible role and will partner closely with FP&A leadership, operational teams, and external advisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, and monthly close processes across multiple entities and newly acquired business units.

  • Manage and reconcile multi-entity balance sheets; ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial statements.

  • Lead account reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance with GAAP.

  • Support and guide accounting staff to strengthen technical capabilities and ownership of core processes.

  • Partner with FP&A to align actuals vs. forecasts, cash flow, and revenue models.

  • Play a key role in the NetSuite environment and upcoming ERP implementation, helping build automated workflows and reporting structures.

  • Establish and document policies, procedures, and controls to support a scalable, audit-ready accounting function as the company approaches IPO-readiness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred but not required.

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required); prior ERP implementation experience strongly preferred.

  • Prior successful IPO experience a huge plus.
  • Experience in healthcare SaaS or high-growth tech environments is highly desirable.

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, pre-IPO environment with evolving processes and structures.

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end accounting cycle (AP, AR, GL) and how it connects to FP&A.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
