Provide technical guidance in statistics, AI/ML, and software best practices. Lead code reviews and enforce best practices in coding standards, model development, and deployment processes. Lead the development of technical strategies for data science projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and emerging industry trends. Drive innovation by exploring and implementing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in data science and machine learning. Make critical architectural and design decisions, ensure code quality and best practices are followed, and remove technical obstacles to unblock the team. Continuously update knowledge of cutting-edge data science methodologies and healthcare trends to drive innovation in data, computation, and business initiatives. Ensure system quality, integrity, and security by adhering to relevant Geisinger AI health standards and governance. Position allows for 100% remote work.
REQ: PhD, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in the following: Machine Learning Techniques; Data Presentations;SQL; Data Analysis; Programming Languages: C++ and Python; Clinical Databases; and analyzing, processing and building AI/ML solutions from Clinical and Operational data sources,such as Epic Clarity, HL7, DICOM, or ECG data. Experience can be gained pre or post Ph.D. In lieu of PhD, will also accept Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field plus seven (7) years of experience in the following: Machine Learning Techniques; DataPresentations; SQL; Data Analysis; Programming Languages: C++ and Python; Clinical Databases; and analyzing, processing and building AI/ML solutions from Clinical and Operationaldata sources, such as Epic Clarity, HL7, DICOM, or ECG data.
