Job Title: Cath Lab Tech
Location: Cypress, TX 77433
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Schedule: Contract | 4x10s or similar schedule | Call rotation may be required
Compensation: $2,600 – $3,000 per week (based on experience and qualifications)
Position Overview: A healthcare facility in Cypress, TX is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join their Cardiovascular Services team. This contract role is ideal for a highly motivated technologist with a solid background in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians and clinical staff in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with cardiac catheterizations and peripheral vascular procedures
Operate fluoroscopy and X-ray equipment during interventional procedures
Monitor, record, and interpret hemodynamic data
Maintain a sterile field and assist as a scrub or circulating tech
Uphold safety and infection control protocols at all times
Provide support to patients before, during, and after procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab or cardiovascular setting
RCIS certification preferred (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
ARRT certification accepted if applicable
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and interventional techniques
Willingness and availability to participate in call rotation as needed
