SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in e-commerce operation, accounting, auditing, or other relevant business fields.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Zoey & X-Cart preferred. 
• Working knowledge of sales tax laws and rules across different regions.
• High level of analytical and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Office suite experience required. Advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Experience with financial reconciliation. 
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently within a fast-paced operation
• Must organize time effectively with extreme time management skills. 
• Must be detail & task oriented with strong work ethic.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reconcile daily e-commerce transactions across all online sales platforms. 
• Verify receipt of payments via credit card processors, PayPal, cash and checks. 
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payment amounts, sales tax calculations, and customer invoices. 
• Reconcile and import payments from Amazon, eBay and Wal-mart platforms.
• Review and reconcile Accounts Receivable balances for online platforms.
• Issue refunds to customers in a timely and accurate manner. 
• Monitor and manage prepaid back orders to ensure proper accounting and fulfillment. 
• Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting. 
• Assist with end-of-month closing procedures related to e-commerce transactions.
• Communicate with customer service and fulfillment teams to resolve payment or order issues. 
• Maintain organized records of all reconciliations, refunds and adjustments. 
• Support audits by providing required documentation and clarification.
• Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a temperature-controlled office environment. Casual dress attire. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Visual acuity, speech, hearing, and hand and eye coordination required. Manual dexterity required to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to long periods of sitting with repetitive use of hands, fingers, wrists. May occasionally lift product weighing up to 40 lbs., bend, stoop, and reach.
