Electrical Controls Designer
**** ONSITE ****
This is a direct-hire and full-time position designing the controls system layout for engineered to order process industrial equipment for the specialty chemical, oil & gas, and LNG industries. The systems include PLCs, control panels, input and output wiring, motor controls, drives, and instrumentation.
Location: Houston Texas Starting salary range $90,000 to $110,000
Requirements:
- Associated Degree in Engineering with a preference for a Bachelors.
- Advanced skills with AutoCAD Electrical with at least 8 years of industrial controls design for customized equipment. *Direct experience with Industrial Burner Controls and Burner Management Systems (BMS) dealing with hydrocarbons, and odorous fumes is ideal.
- Professional background uploading, testing, troubleshooting and Ladder Logic programs in PLCs.
- Strong documentation and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Either United States Citizenship or US Permanent Residency (Green Card) is Required.
