Start your new career as a Facilities Maintenance Technician with MAU at Keenfinity in Greer, SC. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will ensure all production and facility equipment is operating at peak efficiency within a 150,000 sq. ft. distribution facility.

  • Pay rate: $29.81–$35.58 per hour (equivalent to $62,000–$74,000 annually)
  • Temp-to-hire opportunity with conversion after 90 days (520 hours)
  • First shift options:
    • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
    • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
    • 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

What We’re Looking For:
  • Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance technology, Facilities Maintenance, or related field
  • 1–2 years of maintenance experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills (low voltage only; no live work)
  • Experience with forklifts and elevated work platforms (certification required or willingness to obtain)
  • Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and industrial systems
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work at heights using ladders or lifts
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage contractors or vendors
  • Proficient with maintenance tools and software
  • Understanding of workplace safety protocols and hazard identification
What You’ll Do as a Facilities Maintenance Technician:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on facility systems and industrial equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and equipment issues
  • Complete minor repairs such as painting, plumbing, and post-breaker low-voltage electrical work
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and replacement schedules
  • Install, upgrade, or modify building systems as needed
  • Respond to maintenance requests promptly to minimize operational disruption
  • Recommend process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure facilities and equipment meet safety standards through regular inspections
  • Assist with service contracts, equipment purchasing, and vendor coordination
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Prepare reports and document all maintenance activities
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager
