Financial Performance Analyst I Location San Antonio, TX : Work Days: Monday through Friday | Work Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Purpose of the Position:

Provides analysis of quantitative and qualitative data in support of business decisions Participates in the gathering of business analytics to help in the development of appropriate action plans and responses to business issues Gathers data to understand trends affecting lines of business and operational functions of the bank providing analysis of quantitative and qualitative data for answers or recommend solutions to business opportunities or to influence strategy or decisions Assists in coordinating financial processes for the line of business including the annual budget, monthly financial forecast, and long-term strategic planning Works to help with the analysis and development or update of dashboards, scorecards, key performance indicators, profitability reporting and analysis Assists in the coordination of financial reporting applications of the company's data warehouse

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist with maintaining management reporting information in financial systems ensuring integrity of data
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and studying proposed systems or method changes
  • Provide analysis of key performance indicators, dashboards, scorecards and profitability
  • Responsible for management reporting information and is the key contact to business with regards to comprehensive knowledge of existing systems and processes and business strategies and objectives
  • Share insights/observable conclusions about profitability and how to enhance it
  • Assists in developing innovative approaches to identifying and addressing business opportunities

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 0-3+ years of business finance or other relevant experience

Education Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree, preferably finance or accounting, or equivalent experience with advanced credentials a plus
