Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fire Sprinkler/Fire Alarm Designer located in West Palm Beach, FL . The designer will be responsible for creating and drafting fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems. Key responsibilities include developing detailed layouts, preparing shop drawings, conducting hydraulic calculations, stock listing, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders. The role also includes reviewing project specifications and managing project documentation.
Qualifications
Experience in fire prevention, fire protection, and fire safety
Knowledge of life safety and fire suppression systems
Proficiency with design software and CAD tools
Experience with HydraCAD is helpful
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Experience in the construction industry is a plus
Relevant certification in fire protection design or related field
