Job Description

Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Linden, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st shift: 8AM - 4:30PM

Pay Rate:

• $20 / hour 

Job Summary:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely transporting stock within the warehouse using forklifts or other material-handling equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials, as well as pack and unpack shipments.
• Label, sort, and organize both incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Move products and supplies to designated locations within the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport goods efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records of received and dispatched items.
• Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials when required.

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual in English AND Spanish
• Must have a forklift certification
• Must have experience with reach trucks and cherry pickers
• Must have scanner experience
