Position: Full-Time Housekeeper
Location: Brooklyn, New York (with live-in requirement at family’s upstate NY home during summer and occasional off-season stays)
Salary: $35-40/hr – 40 hours per week, paid via payroll as W2 employee
Schedule:
Standard hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Flexibility required for evenings when the family hosts guests
Requested Duration: Long-term, as long as possible

Home: 4 stories, 6 bedrooms, approx. 4,500 sq. ft.
A private family in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced Full-Time Housekeeper. The ideal candidate will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout their 4-story, 6-bedroom home, handle laundry and linens, and ensure the home runs on a consistent cleaning schedule. The family keeps a kosher home, and this role includes assisting the wife with family-style kosher meal preparation. This position requires discretion, trustworthiness, and a warm, upbeat personality, as the family enjoys hosting dinners and social gatherings.
Perform full housekeeping duties, including deep cleaning and daily upkeep of a 4-story, 6-bedroom home
Make beds and change linens on a regular schedule
Manage family laundry, including ironing (sheets included)
Assist the wife with family-style kosher cooking and meal preparation
Help set up for family dinners and gatherings
Run errands such as dry cleaning and post office drop-offs
Support the family during domestic travel and seasonal stays at their upstate NY residence
Maintain household organization and cleanliness standards
Follow and uphold household cleaning schedules consistently
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Minimum of 2 professional references
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Mature, dependable, and consistent personality
English fluency required
Driving skills preferred but not required
Must be flexible to work later hours when needed
Comfortable with occasional domestic travel and live-in accommodations during summer months
