Full-Time Nanny Needed – West Caldwell, NJ $64,064 - $85,800 per year
A warm and active family in West Caldwell, NJ is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their two young children (7 months and 2 years old). The ideal candidate is experienced, engaging, and confident managing two children at once, with a focus on supporting developmental milestones. Both parents work, one in financial services and the other as a police officer with a rotating weekend schedule.
Nanny Responsibilities:
- Care for a 7-month-old and 2-year-old during the day
- Prepare meals and snacks for the children
- Keep play areas and kitchen tidy
- Plan fun and educational activities
- Handle diapering, naps, and daily routines
- Drive children to activities or school if needed
- Supervise around the family pool (must know how to swim)
- Work alongside the children's grandmother when she's present
- Help out if dad is called into work unexpectedly
- Be comfortable with the family dog (friendly and crated)
Schedule:
- Tuesday to Friday- 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Guaranteed 40 Hours Weekly
Compensation & Details:
- $28–$30/hour
- 2 Weeks Paid Vacation- 2 Sick/ 3 Personal Days
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Must be CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Strong swimmer (home has a pool)
- Comfortable with pets (family has a large, trained dog)
- Willing to work cooperatively with involved family members (e.g., grandmother)
- Must provide 3-5 references
- Must have U.S. work authorization
