Qualifications:
◆Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
◆Licensure: Active NY State License
◆Experience: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
◆Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnostic testing and endoscopic procedures
◆Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and patient assessment skills
Key Responsibilities:
◆Consult with patients to understand their health concerns
◆Perform specialized tests to diagnose patients
◆Determine proper courses of treatment
◆Consult with a patient's primary doctor and other specialists
◆Perform endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs
◆Analyze patient historical data
◆Perform X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning
◆Perform surgery in the digestive tract
