HR Generalist / Recruiter

Location: Sterling, MA


Compensation:

  • Base salary range: $60,000–$80,000 depending on experience and certification.
  • Candidates without SHRM certification: Base salary closer to $60,000 with uncapped bonus structure for successful internal placements.
  • Candidates with SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification: Competitive salary within full range.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized HR Generalist / Recruiter to join our growing dental service organization based in Sterling, MA. This individual will play a critical role in driving recruitment , managing onboarding and offboarding processes , overseeing performance management initiatives , and ensuring HR compliance across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have prior recruiting experience and a strong understanding of HR best practices, metrics, and reporting. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys both strategic and hands-on HR work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for clinical, administrative, and operational roles across multiple practices.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, post openings, and screen candidates effectively.
  • Coordinate and oversee all onboarding and offboarding activities , ensuring a positive and compliant employee experience.
  • Support performance management programs, including goal setting, evaluations, and employee development initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal employment regulations and internal HR policies.
  • Generate HR reports and metrics to support leadership decisions, including turnover, hiring timelines, and employee engagement insights.
  • Assist with employee relations issues, investigations, and corrective action in partnership with leadership.
  • Continuously improve recruitment strategies and candidate experience to support growth and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR or recruiting experience , preferably within healthcare or dental environments.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, employee lifecycle management, and performance development.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly encouraged.

Compensation Structure:
