Insurance Producer Sales
Office location – Altoona, PA
Our Client, a well-established, local independent insurance agency, is seeking an outgoing, professional and customer focused Personal Lines Insurance Producer to join their sales team.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Property & Casualty License or be able to secure proper licensing upon hire
- Experience in consultative personal lines sales with a successful track record for results
- Ability to multi-task, follow through and follow up
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong ability to communicate clearly via written and verbal communications
- Strong computer knowledge and excellent typing skills
- Must be enthusiastic, confident, outgoing, and highly motivated
- High School diploma or GED is required
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients by Identifying the client’s insurance needs, gaps in coverage, and loss exposures (insurable and uninsurable)
- Develop and calculate suitable coverage based on clients' needs
- Resolve client inquiries and complaints
- Expand business reach through networking techniques
- Comply with insurance standards and regulations
· Creates and maintains prospect and suspect lists
- Track and identify areas of improvement
Schedule and Compensation Overview :
- Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Hourly position based on experience
- Plus, an Excellent Commission plan
