HLB Gross Collins is searching for International Tax Manager. In this role, you will provide tax compliance and consulting services for multinational businesses. You will help clients identify and achieve their strategic goals through a proactive, innovative, and service oriented approach. We help our clients as a proactive problem solver and trusted advisor.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of leadership and revenue generation.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing US income tax returns, including various international information reporting forms
  • Preparing and reviewing workpapers and documentation related to Subpart F, PTEP, E&P, GILTI, foreign tax credits, and other tax attributes
  • Preparing and reviewing ASC 740 tax provisions for multinational businesses
  • Advising clients on outbound and inbound tax planning and structuring
  • Researching and consulting on various international tax matters
  • Developing and growing a business network with colleagues, referral relationships, potential clients, and external organizations to attract new business
  • Holding yourself and others accountable for business development goals
  • Developing and motivating team members.
  • Contributing to and communicating, openly and frequently, on both practice and firm strategy, goals, and best practices
  • Setting and achieving goals on a periodic basis that increases your value and contribution to the firm and the clients that you serve.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Master’s degree in Tax.
  • 7+ years recent public accounting firm experience including managing multiple tax accounting projects and client engagements, directing and scheduling staff, and managing workflow. Additional industry experience a plus.
  • CPA certification
  • Broad technical knowledge of inbound and outbound structure planning and worldwide tax minimization
  • Solid GAAP Financial Accounting/ASC 740 knowledge.
  • Experience in mentoring, guiding and training associates
  • Experience with tax technology
  • Ability to manage and grow strong client relationships
  • Ability to multitask along with demonstration of commitment to continuous learning
  • Leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and networking acumen
