Overview:

Lawson Enterprises is partnering with a global leader in materials science and manufacturing, to hire an IT App Developer II for a fully remote, 6-month contract position. This role will focus on developing Manufacturing Systems solutions , utilizing both custom-developed software applications and configured products to support their 24/7 manufacturing operations .

The ideal candidate will have strong .NET development skills, hands-on experience with Manufacturing Systems (Siemens Opcenter Ex, Camstar), and a background in IT systems within a manufacturing environment .

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Manufacturing Systems solutions in collaboration with an experienced software engineering team.
• Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools as needed.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document custom applications .
• Perform unit testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and stability.
• Work within cross-functional project teams to meet deadlines and project milestones.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field .

3+ years of .NET development experience (preferably with .NET Core or C#).
Experience with Manufacturing Systems ( Siemens Opcenter Ex, Camstar ) is a must-have .
Previous experience working with IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment .
Hands-on experience with source code management tools like Git or TFS .
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Analysis .
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Angular framework .
Knowledge of UI/UX design concepts .
Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and SQL query language .
