JOB SUMMARY-Landscaper: Our landscaper is responsible for building and maintaining gardens, parks, property buildings, and other outdoor landscapes. They ensure plant growth, the cleanliness of outdoor facilities and pruning of overgrown hedges. Additionally, landscapers supervise maintenance repairs and equipment, landscape structures, outdoor furniture and walkways. Work will be performed almost entirely outdoors.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation.
• Mows and trims laws using hand mower or power mower.
• Planting various landscaping materials as assigned by the Supervisor for the purpose of keeping the areas attractive.
• Fertilizing lawn, trees, flowers and shrubs, and spreading mulch.
• Trimming trees, hedges and shrubs, and preventing and eliminating weeds.
• Operating and maintaining hand tools, such as loppers, saws and shovels efficiently.
• Utilizing insecticides, fertilizers and chemical sprays to treat diseases.
• Keeping grounds free from trash, litter and debris, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Conducting basic irrigation audit and performing basic irrigation repairs.
• Other duties as assigned that is not landscaping

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma preferred.
• 5+ years or more landscaping experience.
• Ability to follow directions and instructions from Manager and see task done with team.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Always provide professional customer service, communicates proficiently.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Basic repairs with up to 2 inch of piping.
• Trouble shooting irrigation problems.
• Operate lager vehicle like loaders, high reach, forklifts etc.
• Horticultural certifications preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
• Must be able to sit, bend, crawl, kneel, and reach.
• Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather.
• Must be able to navigate uneven terrain.
