Job Title: Lateral Firefighter/Paramedic Eligibility List
Overview:
Tulalip Bay Fire is establishing an eligibility list for the position of Lateral Firefighter/Paramedic. Applicants must have at least one year of full-time firefighting experience, Firefighter I certification, and either a Paramedic or EMT certification. Applications can be requested from the department's administration office. The eligibility list will be ranked based on application review, written test scores, and oral board performance. Selected candidates will proceed to further stages of the hiring process.

Salary Information:
Monthly salary: $7,987.12 - $10,161.98
Schedule: 48/96 with 14 Kelly days

Job Requirements:
Age: 21 or older
Citizenship: U.S. citizen
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Driver's License: Valid Washington State driver's license with no suspensions or revocations, and insurable under department policy
Background Check: Must pass a background investigation and criminal record check
Medical Examination: Must pass a department medical physical examination
Minimum Qualifications:
IFSAC Firefighter I Certification (including Hazardous Materials Operations)
Washington State Paramedic (EMT-P) Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Current PALS or Handtevy Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
IFSAC Firefighter II Certification
Pump-Ops Certification
Blue Card Incident Command Training
IFSAC Fire Officer I Certification
IFSAC Instructor I Certification
