Job Summary:


The LIMS System Administrator will provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Clinisys LIMS system and associated hardware. This role involves managing desk requests, resolving system-related issues, system configuration, customization, and maintenance to ensure smooth laboratory operations. The administrator will collaborate with various teams to align the system with organizational requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities:


- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Clinisys LIMS system.
- Manage desk requests and resolve system-related issues.
- Oversee system configuration, customization, and ongoing support and maintenance of the LIMS platform.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff, IT teams, and vendors to ensure the system aligns with organizational requirements.
- Translate user needs into practical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Install and configure desktop/laptop hardware and software.
- Support Windows OS, including driver management, peripherals, drive mapping, patches, and upgrades.
- Maintain strong documentation.

Required Skills & Certifications:


- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience administering Clinisys LIMS or a similar Laboratory Information Management System, including system configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
- 6+ years of help desk experience installing and configuring desktop/laptop hardware and software in an enterprise environment.
- 6+ years of experience supporting Windows OS, including driver management, peripherals, drive mapping, patches, and upgrades.
- Communication skills, both written and spoken, business-level English mandatory.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:


- 6+ years of experience troubleshooting Wide Area network connectivity- IP, Domain, Subnet, and Wifi.
- 2+ years of experience working in a Forensic or Health Laboratory, preferably in an Information Technology role.
