Job Description

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the truck to the job site and back to the yard. Keep job site neat and orderly.
• Set up system and operate the pump in a safe and conscientious manner.
• Know the pump well enough to recognize problems and report them. Some mechanical knowledge is highly preferred.
• Represent the company well through efficient work and courteous service.
• Clean pump promptly after each job and keep system greased.
• Complete and submit pump inspection forms, job tickets and maintenance forms daily.
• Sales skills not required but we will pay bonuses if you can help us get new customers

Qualifications

• Must have a driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Must be a person of high integrity with an excellent, can do attitude.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen on the first day of work.
• Must obtain a medical card.
• Mechanical skills preferred.
• Construction experience is highly preferred.
• Problem solving skills
• Basic math skills
• Self-starter

Physical Demands

• Must stand or sit for extended periods, use hands to handle, hold or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with arms, talk and hear.
• Employee will need to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Employee must frequently lift and/or move large and bulky objects 100+ pounds
• Operators are exposed to the elements and often work during early morning hours.
• Line pumping is very labor intensive. The hoses used to deliver concrete are very heavy with concrete running through them. The employee will need to control the hose and maintain safety while concrete is flowing through the hose.

Schedule

Typical construction schedule with very early mornings to early afternoon, Monday- Friday with occasional weekend jobs. Schedule is set last minute and may change due to weather conditions. Flexibility is required. We do mostly local jobs so you will be home after work almost every day. Occasional overnight stays near a job site may be required. We cover travel expenses.

Pay & Benefits

Starting pay is $16/hr with a generous raise after training. Holiday and paid vacation. Time and a half for overtime. We are a small family owned business with a family atmosphere.
