ROLE SUMMARY

Logistics Associates are highly versatile individuals who assist in many areas of the business. While their primary responsibility is ensuring the safety of company personnel and inventory, they will also assist with deliveries, quality control, harvests, and packaging. Team members will be expected to work in a variety of settings including outdoors, in delivery vehicles and in sterile labs and greenhouses. Importantly, compliance team members may interact with patients and must be respectful of HIPPA requirements when handling sensitive information.

Essential Functions:

  • Package lots for shipment, ensuring the accuracy and quality of each shipment.
  • Ensure that all documentation accompanies all shipments of medical and adult use marijuana products.
  • Prepare transport manifests for deliveries.
  • Deliver product to dispensing locations, ensuring the accuracy of the transfer manifest, and maintaining a clear chain of physical custody along with required documentation of such custody.
  • Transport funds from dispensing locations to banks, ensuring that the quantity transported matches accounting records.
  • Receive delivery of medical marijuana product to our manufacturing facility and ensure all inventory is logged and stored appropriately.
  • Participate in inventory audits.
  • Support the QC team as needed.

Abilities & Competencies:

  • Ability to drive and ride in a vehicle for up to 12 hours.
  • Attention to detail required for complex recordkeeping.
  • Ability to use a computer and to learn new programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • New York State Driver's License
  • Equivalent level of education, training, and experience
  • Must be 21 years of age.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a variety of settings including vehicles, laboratories, dispensaries with patients, greenhouses, and outdoors. This position operates within a manufacturing environment and requires daily use of personal protective equipment such as respirators, hair nets, gloves, and goggles. When outside of the manufacturing center, professional attire is required.

The employee frequently is required to stand at a workstation for extended periods; walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms and ability to work on iPad, laptop or desktop for extended periods of time reading, reviewing and analyzing information and providing recommendations and summaries to patients. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employees may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight up to 50 pounds, typically less than 25 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
