Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment in Elkins, WV . The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician

• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes promptly

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and care planning

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and facility policies

• Support patients and families with education and compassionate care

Schedule & Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

• Contract Duration: 9 weeks

• Employment Type: Contract (Non-Permanent)

Requirements

• Active LPN license (state license or compact license, as applicable)

• Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred

• BLS certification (required)

• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
