LPN Licensed Practical Nurse SNF/ LTC
A Licensed Practical Nurse, or an LPN, is a clinical care provider who typically provides basic care to patients and supports other Nurses and Doctors. Some duties you may add to your LPN job description include monitoring patient health, administering medications and educating patients about disease management.
Shift info:
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Contract Weeks: 9
- Guarantee: 36
- Every Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
OR only every Saturday/Sunday
Skills:
- Proven experience as a LPN.
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of emergency care.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to always follow them.
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible and compassionate.
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 6-12 months of recent (within the last year) supervised experience in Long Term Care/Nursing Home setting.
- Licensed Practical Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Current CPR/BLS certification, Physical, TB test (within 1 year of hire).
- Current LPN/LVN license in the state of IA.
