Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as Maintenance Laborer. You will be responsible for maintaining and beautifying the grounds across the entire campus and its associated outbuildings.

Job Description

• Mow turf areas on all campus areas including outbuildings.
• Operate numerous varied motorized and hand landscape equipment/tools to perform a wide variety of duties.
• Remove leaves of campus and outbuilding trees on a seasonal basis.
• Prune, edge, mulch ornamental plantings, water, weed and plant trees, shrubs and flowers utilizing required equipment.
• Litter pick-up, trash removal of entranceways, parking lots, garage, campus areas and outbuildings.
• Moves, set-ups and assemble various types of furniture and equipment for daily operations, special events and functions.
• Seed and fertilize turf on campus and outbuildings.
• Prep athletic fields, to include dragging, raking and aeration.
• Transport materials and supplies to/from campus, outbuildings and off-site facilities utilizing required equipment, to include box & dump trucks.
• Clean and scrub entrances and garage with power scrubbers on all campus and outbuildings.

Skills Required

• Litter pick-up, trash removal of entranceways, parking lots, garage, campus areas and outbuildings.
• Operate Golf Cart/ utility vehicle to navigate campus to collect trash from receptacles and transport to Waste processing facility.
• Clean, dust, and vacuum carpets in parking garage lobbies. Pick up loose trash, debris, cigarette butts, etc.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay rate

• $15.50 per hour
