The Role

We’re seeking a Marketing Associate who is both creative and operationally strong. This person will support client accounts across design, digital marketing execution, analytics, and organization.

This is not a passive assistant role. You’ll be trusted with real responsibility, real deadlines, and real client work. The right person will grow into a core team member as 39 North continues to scale.

What You’ll Do

Creative & Design

• Create branded Canva graphics for social media, email, websites, digital and print ads, and marketing campaigns
• Create short form video content for ads and socials with supplied video files
• Maintain strong visual consistency across client brands (fonts, colors, layouts, tone)
• Resize, adapt, and version creative assets across platforms
• Catch design and branding issues before they ever reach a client

Digital Marketing Execution

• Assist with Meta Ads setup, QA, and reporting
• Support email marketing campaigns (Klaviyo or similar platforms)
• Manage and update websites
• WordPress experience is required
• Wix experience is a bonus
• Support content scheduling and campaign execution on social media
• Various other marketing tasks ranging from FAM Trip planning and media buying to brochure creation and website editing

Organization & Operations

• Keep projects, timelines, and deliverables impeccably organized
• Maintain trackers, dashboards, and internal documentation
• Ensure deadlines are met with quick turnaround times
• Follow through without reminders

Client Support

• Participate in client communications and occasional meetings
• Prepare polished, client-ready materials
• Represent 39 North professionally and responsibly

Analytics & Reporting

• Pull and interpret performance data across channels (ads, email, web, etc.)
• Assist with reporting and insight generation
• Maintain clean, accurate analytics systems

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

• Strong Canva skills with a clear eye for visual design and branding
• WordPress familiarity is a must; Wix experience is a bonus
• Exceptionally organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Immensely trustworthy, reliable, and accountable
• Able to meet tight deadlines and handle fast turnaround times
• Meta Ads experience or strong working knowledge
• Email marketing experience (Klaviyo preferred)
• Comfortable working with analytics and performance data
• Experience in client-facing roles
• Strong communication and follow-through
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with service-based businesses
• Familiarity with Google Business Profile, SEO basics, or paid search
• Experience with Asana, Google Workspace, or similar tools
• Proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs
• Local to the Greater Cincinnati area

Schedule & Pay

• $20/hour to start with monthly increases to $26/ hour
• 10 to 15 hours per week
• Remote with flexible hours
• Daily team stand-up meetings (via Google Meet) may be required
