Marketing Automation Specialist

Love is seeking an experienced and proactive Marketing Automation Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing automated, data-driven marketing journeys across multiple digital channels and clients. You will use your expertise in CRM, marketing automation platforms, and segmentation strategies to develop workflows that meet business objectives and provide meaningful, personalized experiences for our clients. Your insights and technical skills will be crucial in optimizing performance and delivering impactful, data-driven campaigns.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design & Implement Marketing Journeys: Create and manage automated marketing journeys across email and other digital channels, ensuring timely and targeted communication aligned with audience segmentation strategies.
  • Develop Complex Workflows: Build intricate workflows that meet business objectives, leveraging data and segmentation to guide the audience through personalized journeys.
  • Manage Platforms & Vendor Relationships: Oversee the management and optimization of marketing automation platforms, coordinating with vendors to ensure seamless integration with other marketing technologies.
  • Collaborate for Seamless Execution: Work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to coordinate triggering and deployment of downstream campaigns, ensuring each journey is launched effectively.
  • Audience Segmentation & Personalization: Utilize customer data to create precise audience segments and enhance campaign relevance through personalization, maximizing engagement and conversion.
  • A/B Testing & Performance Analysis: Implement A/B testing strategies to optimize campaign effectiveness and continuously improve results.
  • Data-Driven Reporting: Generate regular reports on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, delivering actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.

  • Collaborative Team Player: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to deliver seamless and impactful campaigns.

Critical Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • 2+ Years Marketing Automation Platform Management: Hands-on experience with platforms like Oracle Responsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, or HubSpot.
  • 2+ Years Cross-Channel Campaign Design: Experience designing and implementing campaigns across email, SMS, and app push channels.
  • 2+ Years Relational Data Handling: Proficiency with relational table structures, query logic, and custom audience segmentation.
  • 2+ Years Data Processing Skills: Familiar with both API and batch processing for data handling and integration.
  • 2+ Years SQL Knowledge: Strong foundation in SQL or similar languages for data management and audience creation.
  • HTML & CSS for Email (Preferred): Experience in HTML and CSS development, particularly for email.
  • Familiarity with Automation Scripting Languages: Working knowledge of languages such as AMPscript, SSJS, or Velocity script.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Marketing or a related business field.
