Job Description

Mission

To bring sports back to their purest, most exhilarating, and competitive form: high stakes and open to all.

Core Values

Create an Outstanding Product: We strive for excellence in everything we deliver.
Champion a Meaningful Purpose: Our work brings people together and celebrates the spirit of competition.
Build a Great Team: Success begins with working alongside talented, collaborative, and passionate individuals.

About Us

Since 2014, we've been redefining sports with high-stakes, open-to-all events that capture the imagination of fans worldwide. Our flagship event, The Basketball Tournament (TBT), has crowned 11 champions, awarded over $15 million in prizes, and introduced groundbreaking innovations like the Elam Ending and our celebrated bracket celebration, now used by the NBA and NCAA.

In 2023, we launched The Soccer Tournament (TST), a high-energy, winner-takes-all 7v7 world championship. Dubbed "Coachella for Soccer," TST brings together top teams from around the globe, including participants from the English Premier League and Bundesliga, offering million-dollar prizes for both men's and women's competitions.

Our events are broadcast live, offering fans unmatched access to the thrill of sports in their purest form.

Position Overview

We're looking for a Fan Marketing Manager to lead fan engagement and ticket sales strategies for our flagship events, TBT and TST. This is a remote role (Boston-based candidates preferred) offering the opportunity to craft campaigns that connect with fans and create unforgettable experiences.

The ideal candidate is a creative, data-driven marketer with a passion for sports and fan engagement. If you're skilled in building partnerships, delivering compelling content, and driving ticket sales through CRM and email marketing, we'd love to hear from you!

Marketing Calendar & Toolkits

Maintain and execute a strategic marketing calendar, aligning campaigns with ticket sales goals and fan engagement opportunities.
Provide host partners and team entrants with tailored marketing toolkits to amplify ticket sales efforts.

Fan Engagement & Growth

Explore and implement innovative strategies to expand and engage our fanbase.
Forge relationships with local soccer clubs, schools, community groups, and influencers to elevate event visibility.

Email & CRM Management

Design and execute email campaigns to engage fans, nurture leads, and drive ticket sales, including cross- and up-selling opportunities.
Use CRM data to analyze fan behaviors and refine strategies for better retention and ticket conversions.\

Partnerships & External Relations

Cultivate partnerships that expand our reach and introduce new audiences to our events.
Act as the primary liaison for key partnerships, ensuring alignment on shared goals and ticketing objectives.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in marketing within sports, entertainment, or events.
Proven success in fan or event marketing, including multi-tier ticket sales.

Preferred

A creative thinker with a track record of executing innovative ideas.

Experience with grassroots marketing, influencer outreach, and community partnerships.
Passionate about sports and fan engagement, with a deep understanding of what drives fan loyalty.
