Are you a pre-med student looking to gain invaluable clinical experience before medical school? Join our Gap Year (Medical Assistant) Program at Charleston ENT & Allergy!

We have immediate openings for highly motivated individuals to work alongside our physicians in our fast-growing ENT and Allergy departments. This role provides hands-on patient care experience, exposure to clinical procedures, and opportunities to develop essential medical skills.

As a Gap Year MA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting physicians, managing in-office processes, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. If you're eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic medical environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with patient care, procedures, and triage
• Perform patient check-in/out and schedule testing
• Call in prescriptions and administer tympanometry exams
• Administer allergy shots (if certified) and take vitals
• Manage hospital consultation requests for physicians
• Float between clinical and administrative tasks as needed
• Work with insurance companies to pre-certify tests and procedures
• Handle scanning, record management, and other office duties
