Qualifications:
- Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Active West Virginia Medical License.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a nursing home or long-term care setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR systems, regulatory compliance, and care plan development.
- Soft Skills: Leadership, collaboration, attention to detail, and strong ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medical Leadership: Oversee clinical operations and ensure adherence to care standards.
- Direct Patient Care: Conduct regular resident assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
- Compliance: Ensure the facility meets state/federal regulations and participates in quality assurance initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
