Location: San Francisco, CaliforniaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $60 - 62 per hourWe're seeking a passionate and experienced Designer specializing in men's denim. This role focuses on creating innovative, trend-forward, and commercially successful products that elevate the brand's identity and market relevance. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit to lead the design process from concept to executionResponsibilities: Design on-brand, consumer-relevant products that drive category growth, brand equity, and profitability. Innovate within the denim category through best-in-class development in fit, fabric, finish, styling, and detailing. Research trends, consumer behavior, and market shifts to maintain a competitive edge. Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with Merchandising, Product Development, and Sourcing to align on design vision and product execution. Lead and participate in fit sessions to ensure design integrity and alignment with fit intent. Own and manage design data within PLM systems, including BOM accuracy and sample tracking (protos to production). Drive seasonal Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and adhere to timelines and key deliverables. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or related field. 4+ years of experience designing within the denim category. In-depth knowledge of denim fabric and wash processes; familiarity with garment construction and trim development. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), PowerPoint, and PLM systems. Strong flat sketching skills and an eye for design and color. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Positive, solution-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Passion for denim and commitment to high aesthetic and quality standards.
