Network Security Engineer (Remote)
W2 & C2C
Key responsibilities
- Work with Netops team on segmentation and zero trust principles
- Review Security Policies for Firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet)
- Zero touch automations with Tufin
- Configure and manage CASB policies (Zscaler)
- Conduct network security assessments
- Monitor network traffic via Splunk for security incidents and respond to network-related security events
- Collaborate with network ops teams to integrate security into network infrastructure
- Advise on compliance requirements for network security (HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.)
- Stay updated on current technologies and maintain awareness of network security trends and threats
- Represent Cloud and Network Security Team in cross-functional projects and initiatives
