Location: Tomahawk, WI is a city in Lincoln County, located at a bend of the Wisconsin River, forming Lake Mohawksin from the Somo, Tomahawk, and Wisconsin Rivers. Facility: A full-service community hospital offering emergency, inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and rehabilitative care. It holds a Level IV trauma certification, provides convenient urgent care access, and is recognized for rural healthcare excellence.

Opportunity:

• Schedule is 7 days on (Thurs-Wed); 7a-7p.
• APC hospitalist works in collaboration with telemedicine physician hospitalist every day via a telecart.
• Telemedicine physician hospitalist must see every new admission (via telecart) within 24 hours and see inpatients every 3 days.
• APC hospitalist rounds on all patients daily.
• Working in a critical access hospital. It is very small and does not have any specialty services such as cardiology, nephrology, etc. It does not have an ICU unit.
• Average patient census is 5.

Compensation: 110/hr-Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included.
