The Department of Radiology of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for full-time tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level. We seek exceptional team members with a desire to expand our research on image analysis for population science involving cardiovascular diseases.
We are seeking to fill one tenure track position in image analysis for cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) to join our Imaging Informatics Research Division and the BRIC to collaborate with epidemiology scientists to develop novel AI image analysis approaches to address cardiovascular diseases. We seek outstanding candidates engaged in cardiovascular image analysis research. This position is part of a cluster hire of 2-3 faculty with complementary expertise in cardiovascular diseases, radiologic imaging, and epidemiology. The new faculty member is expected to develop an independently funded research portfolio and contribute collaboratively to externally funded research.
