Job Description

The Outpatient RN CAP 1 is an entry-level registered nurse role in the Clinical Advancement Program, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for dialysis patients.

• Provides clinically competent care, including patient data collection, treatment adjustments, and education for patients and families.
• Delegates tasks to care staff and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective hemodialysis.
• Administers medications, responds to emergencies, and supports staff training.
• Completes CAP requirements for advancement and adheres to policies, regulations, and safety standards.
• Requires current nursing licensure, BLS certification, and at least 9 months of RN experience, with preferred nephrology background.

Physical demands include heavy lifting, standing, and possible exposure to infectious materials.
