I’m donut ? has officially landed in NYC—and we’re looking for Overnight Bakers to join our team and help bring our signature "nama" donuts to life each morning.
If you’re a skilled Baker or Pastry Cook who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves the rhythm of overnight production, we’d love to meet you. You’ll play a critical role in shaping, frying, and preparing our uniquely textured brioche-style donuts, ensuring each one meets the high standards that have made I’m donut ? a sensation in Japan.
What You'll Do:
Prepare and Execute:
Mix, portion, and proof dough following precise recipes and techniques.
Fry, coat, and fill donuts with consistency and care—bringing creativity and precision to every batch.
Ensure all overnight prep is completed to keep service running smoothly in the morning.
Maintain a Clean and Efficient Kitchen:
Keep your station organized, sanitized, and well-stocked throughout your shift.
Support proper food storage, rotation, and labeling during overnight hours.
Work neatly and safely to ensure quality and compliance with all health regulations.
Be a Team Player:
Communicate clearly with morning and evening teams for a smooth handoff.
Offer support wherever needed during production to keep timelines on track.
Contribute to a respectful, collaborative work environment—even during the night shift.
You Have:
2+ years of baking or pastry experience in a professional kitchen.
Comfort with overnight shifts and early morning production schedules.
A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to stay focused and productive during off-hours in a high-volume kitchen.
A calm and positive attitude—especially under pressure.
