Waialae Country Club has openings for full-time and part-time Pantry Cooks (AM Shift) at our exclusive, beachside club; Home of the Sony Open!
Job Duties: - Prepares fruits, vegetables, cold meats, seafood, dressings, cold sauces, mousses, cold soups, appetizers, salads, cereals, breads and desserts.
- Maintains established food quality standards and consistency of menu items.
- Sets up workstation, maintains cleanliness of work area, and monitors food temperatures.
- Adheres to state sanitation standards.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of related experience.
- Must have excellent knife skills.
- Must have familiarity of duties in all areas of the kitchen.
- Must have knowledge of culinary terminology and understanding of the fundamentals of cooking.
- Formal culinary education is preferred.
- Must be available to work AM shifts including on weekends and holidays.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
