About Us:
We’re a child-focused, walk-in urgent care clinic open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM on weekdays and 10 AM to 7 PM on weekends . Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality care for infants, children, and adolescents in a warm and supportive environment.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time PNP or PA with strong pediatric experience to join our care team. This clinical position involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute pediatric conditions, performing minor procedures, and ensuring a positive experience for both patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct urgent care services to pediatric patients with acute illnesses or minor injuries.
  • Perform physical exams, develop treatment plans, and prescribe appropriate medications.
  • Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
  • Perform minor procedures (e.g., wound care, suturing, splinting, foreign body removal).
  • Educate families on diagnoses, treatments, and at-home care.
  • Document all patient encounters thoroughly in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and family-friendly clinical environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted license in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Certification as a PNP or PA with 1+ years of pediatric experience (urgent care, ER, or primary care preferred).
  • Skilled in common pediatric procedures and clinical decision-making.
  • Current BLS and PALS certifications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends within our operating hours.

Preferred:

  • Experience in pediatric urgent care or emergency settings.
  • Familiarity with pediatric coding and EHR systems.
