A small, comprehensive public high school that hasn't had a theater program for a long time, so anything you can create will make you the Best Theater teacher in at least twenty years.
We offered theater as an elective, and have two semi-full classes waiting for you. We are on a block schedule, and the Theater class is meeting (with subs) two/three days a week in the morning. Give the kids scenes to read or write, we are not looking for The Sound of Music. Unless that's your jam, just get them to understand drama, theater and the performing arts. That's it. Unless you want more then the School District, which is the next building over, will expand your job to be full time working with the middle school and elementary too.
