Job Description

Join our cleint for a 13-week assignment with the opportunity to make a significant impact in pediatric critical care.

Schedule

• Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)

Primary Unit

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Floating Requirements

May float to Pediatrics and NICU if needed for an appropriate assignment. Additional float units may be required based on skill set and hospital needs.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years PICU critical care experience
• At least 1 year of cardiac experience
• Experience must be documented on skills checklist

Competency Requirements

• Care for CT patients with ASD, VSD, AV Canal Defect, Valve replacements, Glenn and Fontan procedures, TOF, post cardiac cath and ablations, cardiac transplant, post cardiac surgery
• Healthcare pacemakers and Tele monitoring
• Experience with BIPAP/CPAP, vents, high flow nasal cannula, trachs

Patient Ratio

1:2 (Confirm with traveler)

Unit Details

• 19 beds on the unit

Certifications

• BLS & PALS required
• NRP preferred

Additional Information

• Charting System: EPIC
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
